In compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, we inform you that the Notary Office processes the data you provide for the following purposes:

Managing your inquiry.
Sending information, electronically or otherwise, related to your inquiry and the notary services.
Providing customer service, answering questions, handling complaints, or receiving suggestions.

We remind you that processing for the described purposes is necessary to fulfill the legitimate interests pursued by the Notary Office.

For the purposes outlined above, and always conditioned by the consented purposes, the Notary Office will process the following categories of data:

Identification and contact data, such as but not limited to: name, surname, phone number, or email address.

4. Data retention period

How long will we keep your data?

Your data will be retained as long as necessary for the provision of services or for the duration of the relationship between the parties. In any case, data will be stored until you request its deletion, as well as for the time necessary to comply with the legal obligations applicable to each type of data.

5. Legal basis

What is the legal basis for processing your data?

The processing of personal data related to maintaining your relationship with the Notary Office is legally based on the necessity of fulfilling contractual obligations arising from that relationship. The processing of your personal data for these purposes is strictly necessary to comply with the mentioned legal obligations.

6. Recipients

Who will your data be shared with?

As a general rule, your data will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law.

However, your data may be shared with the following recipients when necessary for the purposes arising from the relationship between the parties:

Public Administrations: To comply with legal obligations.
Service providers who need access to your data to perform services contracted by the Notary Office, always under confidentiality and data processing agreements to ensure privacy protection.

We remind you that the Notary Office does not carry out international data transfers.

However, during data processing, we may use software whose servers are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), particularly in countries that offer an adequate level of protection or in the U.S. In such cases, we ensure that we work with providers that comply with European data protection standards, particularly the GDPR (EU Regulation 679/2016). 7. Rights

What are your rights regarding the processing of your data?

You have the right to obtain confirmation about whether we are processing personal data concerning you.

Additionally, you have the right to access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, or request deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected.

In certain circumstances, you may request restriction of data processing, in which case we will only retain the data for the exercise or defense of legal claims.

Similarly, under specific circumstances and for reasons related to your particular situation, you may object to the processing of your data.

You also have the right to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the legality of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.
